Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in RF/Microwave and Antenna/AESA integration and testing at our US-based site. You will lead a team to validate antenna hardware, develop test specs, and perform integration with COTS and custom equipment.

The role requires troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and RF domains, and the candidate must have DoD clearance prior to start. Domestic travel is required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 5+ years minimum experience in Antenna/AESA Test and Antenna Subsystem.
• Experience with Test Development in a Far Field or Nearfield Range.
• Experience troubleshooting RF/Microwave Antenna/AESA hardware, software and build/process issues down to the component levels.
• Experience with RF design topics like Noise Figure, Linearity, S-Parameters, Antenna Gain, Directivity, Output Power, Sidelobe Levels, Rogue Oscillations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of test engineers to validate Antenna (AESA) hardware.
• Develop specifications, perform trade studies, integrate hardware and conduct tests.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and RF issues down to subsystem level.
• Provide technical, schedule, and cost inputs to management.
