Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Chief Antenna Design Engineer to lead ultrawideband antenna and ESA system development across lifecycle phases. You will mentor peers, support proposals, and drive design excellence for military airborne, maritime, and ground platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering; 12 years of prior relevant experience.Graduate degree and 10+ years experience; in lieu of degree, 16 years experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Antenna design experience for electromagnetics in RF spectrum across L,V bands.
Experience with antenna element design (horns, dipoles, patch, PIFAs, etc.).
Experience with antenna simulation tools CST/HFSS/ADS/MATLAB.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority for complex antenna/RF/Microwave development programs.
Lead technical design reviews and briefings.
Assess and report project status, risks, and issues.
Mentor junior engineers on antenna development.
Lead business development activities: planning, customer visits, briefings, demonstrations.
Generate accurate estimates for NRE and recurring costs.
Be main technical POC with customers on technical and contractual matters.
