Job summary

E-Space, a space-focused IoT provider, seeks a Senior Antenna Design Engineer to own end-to-end antenna systems for its LEO constellation and ground infrastructure. You will design using HFSS, drive concepts to hardware, and collaborate across RF, mechanical and systems teams.

The role requires leading-edge knowledge in phased arrays, beamforming and full-wave simulations, with on-site work at Saratoga, CA or Arlington, TX. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with focus on antennas, electromagnetics and RF systems.
• 7+ years of hands-on antenna design experience including full-wave EM simulation.
• Ability to independently design antennas and take designs to hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end antenna system design for spaceborne and ground-based applications.
• Design antennas and phased arrays using ANSYS HFSS from concept to layout.
• Define architectures supporting beamforming, beam steering, and multi-beam operation.
• Perform detailed full-wave EM simulations in HFSS to evaluate gain, bandwidth, and pattern.
• Transition HFSS designs to hardware with RF, mechanical and manufacturing teams.
• Define and execute antenna test plans including OTA measurements.
• Collaborate with Systems, RF, Payload, and Network teams to meet end-to-end requirements.
