Job summary

Booksy is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer (Looker) to be the primary architect of our data’s source of truth. You will lead a team of Analytics Engineers transforming raw data into actionable insights via Looker semantic modeling.

This hybrid role bridges Data Engineering, Analysts, and business teams to ensure scalable, governed data models and self-service capabilities, with CI/CD and automation at the core of the practice.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in analytics teams or engineering managers role.
• Strong Looker/LookML and data modeling expertise.
• Proficiency in SQL and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AE team, drive high-performance culture, and mentor career growth.
• Design, develop, and govern central Looker semantic models (LookML).
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Sales to translate needs into scalable data models.
• Automate workflows with Python scripts and Looker API, enforce Jira processes.
