Job summary

Voyatek is seeking a Lead Analytic Consultant (IRS Cleared) for a fully remote role. You will guide client analytics, shape research objectives, and lead data-driven strategies across tax and revenue programs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, deliver clear recommendations, and manage senior-level stakeholders while ensuring high-impact results in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of professional experience.
• Federal Public Trust at Internal Revenue Service.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to formulate data-driven strategies and recommendations.
• Experience gathering and synthesizing information to document business processes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their business needs, define research objectives, identify data sources, document business processes, and develop analysis plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to stakeholders with technical and non-technical backgrounds
• Direct high-performing teams to meet operational and client delivery objectives through clear goal-setting, effective delegation, and active performance management
• Proactively identify risks, resolve operational roadblocks, and implement process improvements to maximize productivity and ensure delivery quality

Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of professional experience
• Federal Public Trust at Internal Revenue Service
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Critical thinker with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to formulate data-driven strategies and recommendations
• Ability to gather and synthesize information to document and understand business processes

• Prior federal consulting experience or tax administration knowledge

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $118,000 to $160,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. It is classified as exempt under applicable law.
