RTX in Tucson, AZ, seeks an AMRAAM C9/D4 Execution Chief Engineer to lead multi-disciplined development teams for AIM-120-C9 and D4 configurations. Role interfaces with senior leaders, suppliers, and government customers. Onsite work in Tucson with a program scope near $500M and potential growth to $1.5B.

The candidate will drive technical vision, align architecture needs, and manage cross-program IPTs for execution excellence. US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Experience leading large technical teams to develop work plans and drive execution.
• Experience with system development, requirements management, verification, and integration.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage a product vision, strategy, and goals for multiple Programs/Customers.
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across IPTs and functions.
• Primary technical point of contact with senior program management and engineering leadership.
• Influence internal and external customers on technical capabilities and risks.
• Plan incremental upgrades and system improvements.
• Drive production improvements via Failure Review Boards and FRACAS.
• Engage major subcontractors to ensure deliverables.
• Direct a multi-disciplinary engineering team in product development and production.
