Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years teaching and clinical experience in Phlebotomy or RMA.
• Current phlebotomy certification from ASPT, AMT or ASCP.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certifications in RMA, CMA or Allied Health Instructor are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach classroom, laboratory, hybrid, and online courses as assigned.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Phlebotomy and RMA programs.
• Assist with strategic planning, enrollment growth, retention initiatives, and program improvement.
• Monitor performance indicators and coordinate course schedules.
• Mentor and support adjunct and full-time instructors.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current certification as a Registered Medical Assistant ( RMA ), Certified Medical Assistant ( CMA ) or Allied Health Instructor ( AMT ).
• Must have current Phlebotomy certification from one of the following organizations:
  • • ASPT
    • AMT
    • ASCP
• Must have 3 years’ teaching and clinical experience in Phlebotomy or RMA .

Position Description

Essential Duties—Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Teach classroom, laboratory, hybrid, and online courses as assigned.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and coordination of the Phlebotomy and RMA programs, and other Health Programs.
• Assist with strategic planning, enrollment growth, retention initiatives, and program improvement.
• Monitor key performance indicators including enrollment, retention, completion, certification pass rates, and employment outcomes.
• Coordinate course assignments and instructional schedules.
• Mentor, train, and support adjunct and full-time instructors.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clinical affiliates, healthcare employers, and community partners.
• Coordinate clinical placements for PBT and RMA
• Coordinate advisory committee meetings and employer engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the Dean on new program development and workforce initiatives.
• Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff
