Kalitta Air, Llc is seeking a Lead Aircraft MX Technician for the 1st shift in Oscoda, MI. The role directs a crew of mechanics to perform day-to-day maintenance on turbine engines, with emphasis on troubleshooting and proper documentation.

A Power Plant license is required, A&P license preferred, and 5 years of engine experience are expected. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily tasks with the Supervisor and assign work.
• Lead crewmembers to perform maintenance tasks.
• Document maintenance discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot turbine engines and determine maintenance actions.
• Ensure proper documentation and MM references are used.
• Provide on-the-job training to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Identify safety issues with supervisor.
• Assist with training needs.
