Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to oversee a repair team at our Chicago, IL base. The role focuses on corporate jets, including Cessna Citation, Bombardier Challenger, and Bombardier Global aircraft, ensuring maintenance and safety standards are met.

The position requires strong leadership, hands-on maintenance expertise, and the ability to train technicians while coordinating with the Part 145 Repair Station.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, corporate jet experience preferred.
• 2+ years of lead/supervision/management experience.
• Must hold a valid A&P license.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the maintenance, modification, and servicing of corporate aircraft, primarily focused on Cessna Citation, Bombardier Challenger, and Bombardier Global aircraft.
• Train and instruct technicians, ensuring all work is performed safely and effectively.
• Complete functional testing and troubleshooting of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Perform rigging and adjustment of flight controls.
• Complete engine inspection, replacement, testing, and run-up.
• Work within a Part 145 Repair Station.
• Other duties may be assigned.
