Job summary

StandardAero in Springfield, IL is seeking a Lead Licensed Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft, including troubleshooting, repairs, and engine work.

The role requires an FAA A&P license and at least 5 years of experience in corporate aviation. You will lead technicians, train peers, and ensure safety and quality in all tasks while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an A&P Mechanic in corporate aviation.
• Ability to lead and supervise other mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on corporate aircraft.
• Coordinate and delegate tasks to technicians; provide guidance.
• Lead projects and oversee activities of junior mechanics; ensure safety and quality.
• Review work orders and ensure proper documentation and compliance.
