Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector to lead inspection of aircraft components and related documentation in our Marysville, WA facility. You will generate first article and receiving inspection reports, verify data, and prepare formal compliance records for FAA and customers.

The role requires experience in aviation inspection, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and timely reporting. Some travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience inspecting aviation parts or components.
• Experience with inspection planning, tools, and inspection processes required.
• ASQ Mechanical Inspector Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspects company-produced products and associated documentation.
• Completes first article inspection reports.
• Performs receiving inspection.
• Records data and prepares formal reports.
• Approves final inspections.
• Assists with internal quality system audits.
• Completes FAA and customer-required certification documents.
• Verifies and records daily Quality paperwork.
• Prepares inspection plans and instructions.
• Selects sampling plan applications.
• Analyzes and resolves customer related corrective actions.
• Analyzes quality costs and other quality data.
• Identifies and recognizes process errors and initiates resolution using the appropriate quality forms.
• Performs internal and external audits under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Monitors and reports Supplier performance per internal procedures.
• Maintains a neat, organized work area and helps with the general daily housekeeping of the department.
• Meets target hours and completes schedules as set by Supervision.
• Maintains regular attendance including being at work, being on time to work and working full shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
