Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced inspector to perform interior component inspections and audits for compliance with engineering specs, FAA regulations, and quality standards. You will use precision measuring tools to identify defects and ensure traceability, with a temporary agency assignment.

The role requires 3+ years in aerospace quality or related inspection, strong reading of blueprints and documents, and the ability to complete FAA certifications and FAI reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years in aircraft interior inspection or related aerospace quality role.
• Ability to read blueprints, packing slips, invoices and other customer data.
• Familiarity with AS9100 preferred and quality assurance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming products for documentation and conformance to PO and specs.
• Inspect aircraft assemblies for compliance with design specs and regulatory standards.
• Prepare receiving inspections and formal inspection reports.
• Complete FAA and customer-required certification documents.
• Create and maintain FAI reports per AS9102.
• Verify material and process certificates for traceability.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to describe nonconforming conditions.
• Travel as required and assist with part marking and packaging.
