Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Interior Inspector to perform inspections on incoming products and aircraft assemblies, ensuring conformance to engineering specs and FAA regulations. You will generate formal inspection reports, complete FAA and customer certification documents, and maintain FAI records per AS9102, ensuring traceability of certificates and materials.

The role requires reading blueprints and measuring instruments, experience with AS9100, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, pack slips, invoices, and other customer data.
• Ability to read measuring instruments and operate calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspects incoming products to verify documentation and conformance to PO and specs.
• Inspects aircraft assemblies for conformance to design specs and regulatory standards.
• Performs receiving inspections and generates inspection reports.
• Completes FAA and customer-required certification documents.
• Creates and maintains FAI reports per AS9102.
• Verifies inclusion of material and process certificates for traceability.
• Coordinates with stakeholders to describe nonconforming conditions.
• Works with FAA DAR; assists with part marking and packaging.
• Keeps management informed of findings, issues, and corrective actions.
• Maintains neat work area and adheres to housekeeping.
• Meets target hours and schedules as set by Supervisor.
• Maintains regular attendance and willingness to work overtime.
