Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Aircraft Paint Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. You will lead a production crew, manage paint processes, and ensure quality standards across aircraft painting tasks.

The role requires 8+ years of paint experience on aircraft or related surfaces, strong leadership, and the ability to work under scheduled deadlines. Eligible for shift incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
• 8+ years’ experience in painting of aircraft, autobody, RV or Marine preferred.
• Exclusive knowledge in all areas of the job and ability to lead small work groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production crew activities to meet scheduling demands.
• Coordinate schedule with other departments and ensure materials are available.
• Train team members to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Assist with final inspection of aircraft and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Communicate effectively in English and supervise delegated tasks.
