West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role covers troubleshooting, maintenance, and inspections on sophisticated civilian aircraft with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety.

On-site work with a 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am, with a 10%–15% premium, and benefits starting at hire. The ideal candidate will have a relevant license (Airframe/Powerplant) and growing expertise across airframe, avionics, and systems, with a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2–4 years aviation maintenance experience for AMT II.
• 4–6+ years aviation maintenance experience for AMT III.
• Airframe and Powerplant licenses required for AMT IV/Master.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
• Defuel aircraft operations.
• Engine removal and installations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist in taxiing and performance runs.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate manuals and training data electronically.
• Communicate clearly in English.
