The candidate will supervise multiple projects, train staff, and coordinate tasks with leadership. A strong background in airframe and powerplant work is required, with 8+ years of aviation maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• Driver’s license for airline travel is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Aircraft-specific factory training is preferred.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred; 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Minimal supervision and will lead small groups in daily tasks.
• Must perform all work in accordance with FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete the necessary jobs/tasks and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Implement a strong turnover of work to the next shift.
• Look for opportunities to reduce turn time of aircraft.
• Help to train/mentor technicians assigned to projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload.
• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft when designated.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components when designated.
• Coordinate projects and communicate with customers.
