Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to guide a team of technicians in a fast‑paced hangar. You will ensure FAA compliance, oversee multiple projects, and drive quality and efficiency in aircraft maintenance.

You will supervise technicians, perform electrical/mechanical tasks, and coordinate with customers while maintaining a strong safety and quality mindset.

Qualifications

• Must have Airframe and Powerplant License and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred, 4+ years in program specific airframes.
• Able to supervise multiple technicians and lead projects under FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to deliver high‑quality, timely results.
• Train and mentor technicians; manage daily workload and project flow.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft, troubleshoot, inspect, and coordinate with customers.
