Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Team Lead, Aircraft Maintenance Technician to supervise a skilled team and direct project flow on aviation maintenance programs. The role requires extensive knowledge of engine and aircraft systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems, with direct customer contact and oversight of programs and sales.

Ideal candidates will have leadership experience, A&P license, and the ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license required.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft engine and systems, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical.
• Experience supervising technicians and managing multiple projects.
• Ability to supervise inspections and liaise with customers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of aviation maintenance technicians and direct project flow.
• Coordinate manpower, parts and resources to meet aircraft schedules.
• Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform regular audits and inspections to guarantee quality service.
• Lead training and development to build team skills and productivity.
• Manage work orders, FAA paperwork and billing items.
