Job summary

Republic Airways Inc. is seeking a skilled Mx Mechanic in the United States to supervise maintenance and oversee aircraft readiness.

You will perform preventive maintenance, oversee repairs and modifications, and ensure compliance with FAA rules, OSHA standards, and company procedures. The role requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and multiple years of A&P experience, including leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with FAA A&P license required.
• Two years A&P experience on similar aircraft required; four years preferred.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience required.
• Pass FAA 10-year background and drug tests.
• Must possess required tools and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises mechanics in maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and repairs according to FAA, GMM, and company procedures.
• Coordinates with Materials to ensure parts arrive as needed and maintains accurate records.
• Leads shift turnover, meetings, and performance feedback; supports supervisor in reviews and development.
• Ensures safety, proper use of tools and shop equipment, and compliance with company policies.
