Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking a qualified Mx Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repairs and modifications on aircraft, components and related equipment in accordance with FAA, GMM and manufacturer specifications. You will work inside and outside hangars and at the airport terminal.

The role requires use of test equipment, careful documentation, and adherence to safety standards, with travel up to 20% and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays to support 24‑hour operations.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license required along with high school diploma.
• Previous A&P or airline maintenance experience.
• Computer usage to look up information and input data.
• Stable employment history.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Must possess required tools.
• Able to work in team or independently.
• Willing to submit to FAA background checks and random drug/alcohol tests.
• Able to read/interpret maintenance documents and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, modifications and other aircraft maintenance.
• Troubleshoot all aircraft systems and execute work orders.
• Use tools, equipment and test apparatus per industry standards.
• Verify tooling calibration, material/serviceable condition and part effectivity.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document progress.
• Provide coaching and on-the-job training as directed.
• Attend shift meetings and complete turnover and paperwork.
• Access GMM and manuals via company intranet; ensure compliance.
• Travel up to 20% as required.
