Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required.
• 8+ years in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 4+ years in program-specific airframes.
• Self-motivated team player able to lead multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete jobs and manage day-to-day tasks.
• Implement a strong turnover of work to the next shift.
• Identify opportunities to reduce aircraft turn time.
• Train and mentor technicians assigned to projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workloads.
• Work independently on projects and lead multiple projects.
• Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems when designated.
• Inspect aircraft and components as assigned.
• Coordinate aircraft movement, testing, and taxiing as required.
• Maintain shop facility, equipment, and tooling to support operations.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and team.
