Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Gulfstream Aircraft Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift in East Alton, IL. This full-time, on-site role involves servicing some of the world’s most sophisticated civilian aircraft and advancing skills through FAA-guided maintenance tasks.

AMT I–IV licensing paths apply with 0–6+ years of aviation maintenance experience; responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspection, and equipment operation.

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license per AMT level is required (I–IV) depending on role.
• 0–6+ years aviation maintenance experience per AMT level.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshooting and problem solving aircraft system issues.
• De-fueling aircraft and engine work as needed.
• Inspection and evaluation of the aircraft and components.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in taxiing and runs.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; follow FAA guidelines.
