Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician to head a team in Grand Junction, CO. The role emphasizes strong leadership, technical excellence and adherence to FAA standards, with responsibilities spanning supervision, mentoring and hands-on maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and A&P license required.
• A valid driver’s license ideal or passport; aircraft factory training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technicians to complete tasks with quality and efficiency.
• Train, mentor and supervise technicians on projects and daily duties.
• Perform general mechanical work on aircraft and related systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot, inspect and evaluate aircraft and components while maintaining FAA guidelines.
• Coordinate multiple projects and ensure timely completion under supervision.
