Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Millville, NJ is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector for a full-time, on-site role.

You will manage operational quality control tasks, ensuring adherence to the West Star Aviation Repair Station & Quality Control Manual, Customer Maintenance Programs, and Federal Aviation Regulations. You will review technician assignments, perform spot checks, verify MEL and MQB procedures, and conduct final aircraft walk-arounds before release.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe and Powerplant license or Repairman Certificate required.
• Proficiency with inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs for adherence to authorizations.
• Perform front line spot checks of maintenance activity per AMM/RSQCM guidelines.
• Verify MEL procedures and MQB compliance.
• Conduct aircraft final walk-around and release.
• Communicate release status to customers via email.
