Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Washington state is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to create and modify electrical solutions for VIP aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations, ensuring Fit, Form and Function to meet customer criteria and FAA requirements.

You will collaborate with mechanical, stress, manufacturing, and certification teams, develop BOMs, and advise on materials selections while adhering to budget and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
• Ability to check electrical engineering drawings for Fit, Form and Function.

Responsibilities

• Creates electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
• Ensures electrical designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Leads aircraft wide equipment installation planning including locations and materials.
• Provides liaison engineering support to resolve build and installation issues.
• Interfaces with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, and Certification.
