Job summary

AVTECH Global, part of Aviation Technology Associates, LLC, is seeking an Aircraft Certification Engineer — Systems to lead airworthiness certification activities for MCDA programs. You will serve as the technical SME, bridging 14 CFR Part 25 requirements with MIL-HDBK-516C standards, and coordinate with DoD contractors and DER/DAR authorities to ensure compliant, on-time certifications.

The role is REMOTE with monthly travel to Dayton, OH for briefings and inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or related field.
• 15+ years of aircraft certification experience on systems.
• Experience with MIL-HDBK-516C and FAA certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME level understanding of aircraft systems including ECS, Fire Protection, and Auxiliary/Emergency Power.
• Develop, review, and execute certification plans for MCDA programs.
• Interface with military authorities and DER/DAR representatives to coordinate approvals.
