Job summary

West Star Aviation in East Alton, IL is seeking a Lead Interior Cabinet Technician (2nd Shift) to lead modification, repair, refurbishment and fabrication of aircraft cabinets. You will evaluate modifications, train teammates, and ensure quality while working with the Interior Team Leader.

The role requires an 8+ year background in aircraft cabinets, a high school diploma, supervisory training preferred, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years prior experience in aircraft cabinets.
• Completion of supervisory training classes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage cabinet modifications and installations by communicating with team leads and staff.
• Perform training, coaching and mentoring of team members to develop job knowledge and performance.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance evaluations of assigned team members.
• Assist with engineering on design for major modification projects.
• Work independently on projects and ensure safety regulations are followed.
