Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Chattanooga, TN is seeking an Interior Cabinet Technician to fabricate high‑quality furniture and wood‑surfaced subassemblies for world‑class business aircraft, with cabinet installation, modifications, repairs, and related mechanical tasks under supervision.

This full‑time, on‑site role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–6 years of aviation or related experience to progress from Tech I to Master Tech, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–6 years of aviation/related field experience for Tech I level.
• Experience with aviation interiors, cabinets or related subsystems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical functions on cabinets and related systems.
• Install, modify, or fabricate cabinets; re-laminate or veneer as needed.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling; keep work areas clean and safe.
• Communicate clearly in English with team members and supervisors.
• Follow FAA guidelines and safety rules in all tasks.
