Job summary

TEL Staffing & HR is seeking an experienced cabinetmaker to fabricate complex wood-surfaced subassemblies for aircraft interiors under general supervision. You will oversee projects, mentor teammates, and contribute to safety and process improvements.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED, 4 years of cabinetmaking experience (aerospace preferred), excellent communication skills, and the ability to read drawings and speak English. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work any shift.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates complex high quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and hand held-tools.
• Interprets material specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with design and engineering requirements.
• Coordinates with supervision to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples.
• Uses a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
• Champions safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; protects aircraft interiors.
• Mentors and trains lesser skilled technicians; oversees projects and delegates tasks.
