Job summary

Kay and Associates, Inc. seeks an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III (Avionics) for Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii VMGR-153. The role leads a maintenance team, supervises complex aircraft work, and applies advanced knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems.

You will guide lower-level technicians, review technical data, and ensure safe, compliant maintenance with a focus on KC-130J aircraft. Deployment to OCONUS locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years aircraft maintenance experience.
• Eligible for Common Access Card (CAC).
• Deployable to locations Outside Continental U.S. (OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in aircraft maintenance, inspections and scheduled/unscheduled work.
• Provide technical guidance to subordinates and engineers on airframe and powerplant systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex aircraft systems and components.
• Maintain and update aircraft logs and records.
• Ensure compliance with CNAFINST 4790.2 and PWS requirements.
• Initiate maintenance actions and coordinate with maintenance control.
