Job summary

PCI Aviation, LLC seeks an experienced KC-130J Aircraft Mechanic II (Airframes) to support VMGR-252 at MCAS Cherry Point. The role covers troubleshooting, repairs, inspections and documentation of maintenance across flight control, fuel, hydraulic, refueling, landing gear and pneumatic systems.

Candidates must hold KC-130 airframes training or equivalent, an A&P license, and be eligible for DoD Secret Clearance. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• KC-130 airframes mechanic training or equivalent certification.
• A&P license.
• Ability to perform complex O-level maintenance actions.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Familiarity with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
• Base access eligibility and possession of a valid state driver’s license.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair KC-130J systems per naval manuals.
• Perform inspections on assigned systems as required by manuals.
• Document maintenance in OOMA system.
• Inspect and repair aircraft components and servicers.
• Provide in-depth training to squadron mechanics.
• Maintain required support equipment licenses.
• Serve as Airframes Mechanic for VMGR-252 at MCAS Cherry Point.
• Perform CDI inspections when required.
• Review and apply technical directives to maintenance tasks.
