Job summary

Amentum seeks an Aircraft Mechanic 1 in Kaneohe, HI to support MV-22 aircraft maintenance. You will assist higher-level techs in troubleshooting, removal, installation, and wiring, following DoD standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, component repairs, rigging, and operation of flight-line support equipment. Candidates must have 3+ years of experience, be able to obtain DoD clearance, and supply their own tools within 10 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years actual and recent systems experience required.
• Ability to quickly learn the NALCOMIS reporting system and document discrepancies.
• Knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Publications such as the 4790.2 series and IETMS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inspections and troubleshooting per MRCs, IETMS, and directives.
• Assist in removal, replacement, and rigging of aircraft systems and components.
• Operate support equipment for flight-line operations and maintain installed systems.
• Learn DoD IETMS and document maintenance actions.
• Cross-train in multiple specialties as assigned.
