Job summary

Kay & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Aircraft Mechanic III (Airframe) at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on organizational and depot-level maintenance on C/KC-130T series aircraft, under NAMP and contract requirements.

The position requires 7+ years in airframe maintenance, 5+ years on KC-130T, and a Secret clearance. Onsite, full-time with multiple shift options and strong leadership duties are involved.

Qualifications

• 7+ years airframe aviation maintenance experience.
• 5+ years C/KC-130T or similar aircraft maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work day, swing or mid shift as required.
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repair, and modification.
• Document maintenance actions in aircraft logs and approved maintenance systems.
• Lead and provide technical guidance to lower-level mechanics.
• Ensure compliance with Tool Control, FOD, safety, and quality programs.
• Perform general aircraft maintenance.
• Scheduled and Unscheduled maintenance and related flight line tasks.
• Support Equipment operations and inspections and aircraft movements.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and directives.
