Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in a school or treatment setting preferred.
• Background check and TB clearance required (IDOJ/FBI Live Scan).
• CPR/Pro-Act/CPI certification is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with implementing IEPs and BIPs.
• Provide instructional support across content areas as directed.
• Coordinate staffing and subs placement as needed.
• Maintain attendance, records, and program documentation.
• Supervise students during breaks and meals.
• Assist with meal routines and transitions between classes.
• Monitor student safety and behavior according to school plans.
• Assist with distribution of training kits and resources.
