Job summary

Point Quest is hiring Full-Time Behavioral Aides in Sacramento, CA, to support students with special needs, implement behavior intervention plans and provide one-on-one classroom support. You will collaborate with teachers and clinical staff, use evidence-based ABA strategies, respond to crisis situations, and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for BA I-II; Bachelor's degree required for BA III.
• Experience in a school or treatment setting with students needing learning, social, emotional, or behavioral support.
• DOJ/FBI Live Scan Background & TB Clearance required.
• Preferred Certifications: Pro-ACT, CPI intervention training, and/or CPR certification.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; reliability and flexibility are crucial.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional support and implement IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
• Provide instructional support tailored to individual student needs.
• Travel to different locations within 30 miles one-way (if applicable).
• Monitor and assist students during class breaks, meals, transportation, and bathroom use.
• Record daily data on student behavior and progress toward learning objectives.
• Respond to crisis situations using Pro-ACT and/or CPI methods.
• Substitute as needed to ensure continuity of instruction.
