Job summary

Dust is seeking an AI Operator Support Engineer to redefine how support scales with AI. You will split time between running complex support issues and building the AI systems that reduce workload over time. Dust treats support as a product, measuring success by removing ticket categories and enhancing automation.

You will define and ship infra for AI agents, automation workflows, and knowledge tooling, dogfooding the product, and growing the team with high standards.

Responsibilities

• Define the technical direction for the support stack and set automation priorities.
• Build and maintain AI agents, automation workflows, and classification systems to reduce manual load.
• Engineer recurring issues out via automation, documentation, prompts, or product feedback.
• Develop tooling to increase team capacity without headcount growth.
• Own and manage the 'Support as a Product' backlog and drive shipped outcomes.
• Hire, onboard, and grow the support engineers around you.
• Handle the hardest tickets personally and set the standard for issue handling.
