Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. is seeking a Lead Application and AI Security Engineer to secure Direct-to-Consumer and B2B applications. You will lead secure-by-design development, establish AI security guardrails, and advance security across the software lifecycle.

You will mentor teams, define security standards for AI/ML, and drive governance for GenAI and AI-enabled services, partnering with engineering to embed controls and protect data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus extensive cyber security experience as described in posting.
• Understanding of how modern engineering teams build software using AI coding assistants and AI-powered services.
• Requires 5+ years of application security experience.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10, API Top 10, and LLM security practices.
• Knowledge of secrets detection, SAST, DAST, SCA, and API security testing.
• Experience securing AI-enabled applications including LLMs and AI agents.
• Experience using AI to code scripts leveraging APIs for security solutions.
• Strong cross-functional teaming skills with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the application and AI security strategy across software teams.
• Lead integration of AI-powered security across SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Embed security controls into developer platforms and applications.
• Serve as technical lead for AI security across web, mobile, API and third-party AI services.
• Develop security standards for AI/ML-enabled tech and data protection controls.
• Establish governance for GenAI, LLMs, and agentic solutions.
• Evaluate and pilot emerging AI security technologies.
• Define use policies and validation for AI-generated code.
• Mentor engineers on secure development practices.
