Job summary

Under Armour, Inc is seeking a Lead Application and AI Security Engineer to secure its Direct-to-Consumer and B2B applications. You’ll drive secure-by-design practices, set AI security guardrails, and advance AI-powered security across the SDLC for web, mobile, and APIs.

You will mentor teams, embed security into CI/CD, and lead governance for GenAI and LLM deployments, ensuring data protection and robust security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, engineering or related field; 8+ years cyber security experience or Master’s +6 years.
• Understanding of AI coding assistants, code generation platforms, and AI-powered services.
• 5+ years of application security experience and secure AI software development practices.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and API security; knowledge of data protection controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute security strategy and roadmap for applications and AI security.
• Lead integration of AI-powered security across the software development lifecycle.
• Embed security controls into developer platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and apps.
• Serve as technical lead for AI security across web, mobile, API, and third-party AI services.
• Develop security standards for AI/ML technology consumption and governance.
• Establish guardrails for GenAI, LLMs, and agentic solutions; supervise pilots.
• Mentor engineers on secure development practices.
