Job summary

Synopsys Inc. seeks a senior cybersecurity leader to own end-to-end automation and orchestration for Security Operations, spanning detection, triage, investigation, containment, remediation, and post-incident learning.

You will architect scalable automation frameworks, integrate SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud security, identity, and threat intel, and design AI-driven workflows to enhance alert triage and response. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams while advancing AI-enabled defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with depth in Security Operations, Automation, Incident Response, and Detection Engineering.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale security automation in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms, SIEMs, EDR/XDR, and security telemetry pipelines.
• Proven ability to apply AI/ML, including LLM and agentic tech, to security workflows.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript) and API integration at scale.
• Strong data analytics and experience with databases/data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end automation and orchestration strategy for Security Operations, including detection, triage, investigation, containment, remediation, and learning.
• Architect scalable automation frameworks integrating SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, cloud security, identity, vulnerability management, and threat intel.
• Design and deploy AI, LLM, and agentic workflows to enhance alert triage, enrichment, investigation summaries, decision support, and response actions.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI, detection, and response technologies to stay ahead of threats.
• Mentor and lead within the Security Operations group, promoting engineering rigor and automation fluency.
• Collaborate with SOC, IR, Threat Intelligence, Detection Engineering, Attack Surface Management, IT, Legal, Product to align security with business priorities.
