Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead AI Engineer to architect and oversee a greenfield FinOps AI platform composed of 8 specialized agents operating in a multi-cloud GCP/AWS environment.

You will drive architecture, governance, and security with Zero Trust models, while mentoring engineers and ensuring RFC-compliant solutions. You will report to the Technical Product Manager and collaborate with platform and enterprise architects, guiding a Senior Software Engineer on implementation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years in a technical leadership capacity
• Experience building multi-agent AI systems or LLM-powered platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) and security

Responsibilities

• Lead design and orchestration of 8 specialized AI agents
• Enforce governance and cost controls for LLM usage
• Define system integration and routing for actions and events
• Mentor engineers and enforce RFC standards and API contracts
• Drive standards across repositories and ensure schema compliance
