EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect and deliver a greenfield multi-agent AI platform powering proactive FinOps workflows in a multi-cloud environment.

You will lead agent orchestration, governance, security, and high‑scale API services while mentoring engineers. Responsibilities include designing orchestration patterns, implementing LLM governance with centralized routing and cost tracking, building secure action-routing services, enforcing Zero Trust, and guiding code

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with leadership in AI/platform systems.
• Strong mentoring and code-review skills with engineering standards.
• Advanced Python (3.11+) and production-grade AI services.
• Strong FastAPI design for secure, scalable endpoints and integrations.
• Google Cloud Platform experience including workload identity and managed AI services.
• Solid security/governance knowledge including Zero Trust, RBAC, auditable logs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a multi-agent AI platform with specialized agents.
