Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the CCB AI/ML engineering group in New York. You will be a core technical contributor driving secure, scalable technology solutions and leading AI-assisted software development across teams.

The role requires experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, with advanced skills in Python/Java and familiarity with enterprise AI tools on AWS.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure high-quality AI/ML engineering production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives adoption and governance of AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
