Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial and Investment Bank Payments Technology team to drive secure, scalable technology.

You will be a core technical contributor, delivering trusted, market-leading products while guiding agile teams and aligning with firm-wide SDLC practices. You will lead end-to-end ML deployments, design secure production services, and foster AI-assisted development, code review, and testing strategies.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced in one or more programming language(s).
• Advanced knowledge of cloud, AI, ML, and related technical disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience leading AI-assisted software development tools with quality validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to the business and its teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Deploy and serve end-to-end ML models.
• Deploy and maintain services in a fully cloud native environment.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and secure coding standards.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
