Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Lead Learning Product Specialist to own the platform learning experience for customers, partners, and internal practitioners. You will shape how users discover, practice, and demonstrate skills inside the Databricks platform and across in-product journeys, training, and AI-assisted guidance.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of experience in product management or UX-focused roles, or learning/education platforms, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or data/AI products.
• Experience owning a product area end to end: strategy, PRDs, engineering and design collaboration, shipping features.
• Experience building learning systems, training platforms, or in-product guidance (LMS, analytics, guidance).
• Strong UX collaboration with designers/researchers to craft intuitive flows and content.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-first learning systems on the Databricks platform.
• Design experiences that surface targeted knowledge when users need it within workflow context.
• Translate pedagogical goals into platform capabilities like learner models, skills graphs, progress tracking, adaptive paths, assessments, and feedback.
• Partner with UX/content design to embed guidance within the workflow, not as a separate training destination.
• Collaborate with platform/infrastructure teams to ensure reliability, security, and scale for global enterprise use.
• Develop predictive signals and analytics to identify emerging skills and gaps for proactive actions.
• Build tooling for enablement teams to deliver personalized learning at scale using AI and automation.
• Provide dashboards and in-product insights for learners and leaders to track progress toward goals.
• Work with education and curriculum teams to empower self-service configuration and experimentation tools.
