Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer to help drive AI-powered customer experiences in a fast-paced unit. You will own design, prototyping, and delivery of features, APIs, and AI services at scale, collaborating with world-class engineers and AI researchers.

You’ll embed with customers, learn quickly, and ship impactful solutions across cloud platforms. You’ll join a team valuing continuous learning, security, and a genuine AI-first engineering approach, with opportunities to mentor peers

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science with AI coursework; MS preferred.
• 5+ years in software engineering with AI/ML focus; senior/lead levels vary.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or C++.
• Strong APIs, data modeling, and database knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or OCI; cloud deployments.
• Experience debugging full-stack deployments and collaborating across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management.
• Security principles and commitment to continuous AI learning.
• AI-first mindset and familiarity with AI tools in development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to translate theory into customer-facing practice.
• Build tools/pipelines to support ML and AI efforts.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain production software and AI services.
• Roll out scalable cloud architectures and related software.
• Assist with requirements gathering and executive presentations.
• Understand complex customer problems and craft thoughtful solutions.
