Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Group Product Manager for Compliance Automation to own the vision and multi-year roadmap for AI/ML-powered sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and risk-based workflows. You will lead PMs, partner with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science to scale automation while reducing cost and regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management with AI/ML automation or compliance tech at scale.
• Experience leading large cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and managers.
• Proven ability to partner with ML engineers and translate tech into product strategy.
• Track record with sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, AML/BSA, and regulatory approvals.
• Experience aligning investments and tradeoffs with VP+ level leadership.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve workflows, cost, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Coinbase's Compliance Automation platform (sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, risk-based workflows).
• Lead PMs to define and deliver AI/ML-powered capabilities that reduce manual effort and scale compliance operations across jurisdictions.
• Identify automation opportunities to cut costs without increasing regulatory risk.
• Partner with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science to meet regulatory requirements while enabling velocity.
• Shape integration of AI/ML tech to strengthen detection and accelerate case resolution.
• Build relationships with regulatory stakeholders and translate evolving requirements into product capabilities.
