Job summary

Coinbase seeks a Group Product Manager for Compliance Automation within the Platform product group. You will own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for AI/ML-powered compliance systems covering sanctions screening, monitoring, and risk-based workflows.

You’ll lead PMs, partner with Compliance, Legal, and Data Science to ensure regulatory requirements are met while enabling scalable product velocity. This is a remote-first, global role with significant in-person surge sessions.

Qualifications

• 10 years of product management experience in AI/ML-powered automation, compliance technology, or operational automation at scale.
• Experience leading large cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams.
• Partnering with ML engineers on agentic AI architectures for compliance.
• Familiarity with sanctions, transaction monitoring, AML/BSA frameworks.
• Ability to align investments with senior leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for Compliance Automation.
• Lead PMs to define and deliver AI/ML-powered capabilities that scale compliance operations.
• Drive cost optimization by automation across major cost centers without increasing risk.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Trust & Risk, Engineering, and Data Science.
• Shape AI/ML technology integration to strengthen detection and speed case resolution.
• Translate evolving regulatory requirements into concrete product capabilities.
