Job summary

Earnix is seeking a hands-on Software Development Team Leader to guide our Analytics & Modeling Service, turning ideas into scalable AI-driven solutions. You’ll influence engineering practices and shape how AI is adopted across the product.

You'll lead delivery, evaluate PoCs, collaborate with Product, Data Science and Architecture, and own architecture, APIs and data models to ensure performance and scale for insurers.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven team leadership in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong Java proficiency and scalable cloud-based systems experience.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., JPA/Hibernate/EclipseLink).
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, EC2, S3, ECS).
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools and GenAI.
• Experience leading POCs to production adoption.
• Experience in customer-facing technical work and product demos.
• Experience defining engineering processes at team level.
• Familiarity with Spark.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day team delivery from design to production.
• Evaluate new tools and turn PoCs into production-ready solutions.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption across coding, testing, and reviews.
• Establish best practices and guardrails for AI-driven development across R&D.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Architecture to build AI-powered capabilities.
• Own architecture, APIs, and data models balancing performance, scalability, and cost.
