Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a Lead Decision Intelligence Engineer to own production-grade decision intelligence capabilities across the NBA platform, guiding decision models, agentic workflows, and governance.

You will lead a small engineering team, collaborate with product, data science, and engineering, and implement decision intelligence components using LangGraph, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, and Databricks in a healthcare context.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
6+ years of software/AI engineering experience with 1–2 years in leadership.
Strong Python engineering experience and production AI systems experience.

Responsibilities

Model and formalize business decision processes and outcomes.
Design and build agentic workflows and production AI capabilities.
Lead and mentor AI engineers and establish engineering standards.
Collaborate with product, decision science, data science, and engineering teams.
Ensure governance, safety, observability, and auditability.
