Job summary

Fluidstack is hiring a Decision Engineering Team Lead for the Infrastructure Development & Delivery team. You'll lead a small team of Decision Engineers (AI Software Engineers) building AI-powered tools and decision systems that make infrastructure development and delivery workflows significantly more productive, while still shipping hands‑on.

You'll set technical direction, own the team's delivery bar, grow engineers, and partner with leadership to pick the highest‑impact AI augmentation

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with team leadership and hands-on coding.
• Proven track record shipping production systems and internal tools used by operational teams.
• Strong full-stack skills with Go, Python, and TypeScript; web apps experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Decision Engineers, setting technical direction and owning the bar for what ships
• Still build hands-on: personally ship the highest-leverage AI tools and agents for infrastructure development and delivery workflows
• Own the team's delivery: identify the highest-impact AI augmentation opportunities across infrastructure development and delivery workflows and turn them into shipped tools with measurable productivity gains
• Design and maintain shared AI infrastructure including AGENTS.md and SKILLS.md, and shared skills the wider organization builds on
• Grow the engineers on your team through review, direction, and hiring
• Partner with team and functional leadership to translate their goals into an AI tooling roadmap
